First Friday: January 2020

Creations of Hope Gallery (727 S Kansas): New Year, New You? Celebrate the new decade with beautiful art! Artist Irene Haws says of her art: "Art and nature are two things that offer such reprise and relief for me. I started drawing at a very young age. It was a way for me to express myself, get lost in time as I drew images of wild animals from photographs. These were animals I was not familiar with. Somehow focusing on the unfamiliar and challenging myself to capture that image with my pencil was a great way to distract my mind from the unpleasant issues surrounding me when I was a child.”" FFAW hours are 5-8p.
