CALLING ALL ARTISTS!!

At ArtsConnect, we’ve been looking for ways to support artists of all disciplines in these strange times, so we are inviting artists to send us original works that will be made available for downloaded from our website. Visual artists - send us a coloring sheet! Poets & playwrights - send us a poem or a play! Music composers - send us a sheet of music! Writers - send us a short story!

When your work is downloaded, we will ask those who are downloading it to make a recording of their performance…their reading….their acting…..a photo of their finished painting or coloring sheet. We want to include EVERYONE. (We can even post videos if you would like to show your audience how it’s done.)

We will post your original works on our website along with your contact information, website and payment method of your choice (Venmo, Paypal, CashApp, etc.). We will promote the pages through social media and other channels, encouraging people who download a sheet to post their finished work so that we can all connect with one another even though we can’t be together.

If you would like to participate, please fill out the form below and then email a high-resolution scan of your works - as many as you would like to send - to Sarah at sarah@artstopeka.org. You only need to fill out the form one time - we will file all of the works by each artist with the same information. Everything will be formatted to be a printable 8.5” x 11” PDF so that they can be printed with a standard home printer.

It is not expected that you create a new work, but you sure can if you would like to. (The only rule is that it needs to be original!) Be sure to include your name on the printed sheet somehow - and if you have an Instagram handle or website, include that as well so that when the sheet is printed off at home, your information will still be attached to it. We will update the website with submissions daily and send each participating artist a link to their “store” so that you can promote your work.
